The Uniquelocke variant of the Nuzlocke challenge uses the standard Nuzlocke rules, with one additional restriction: no two Pokémon on the player’s team at any given time may share a type. This includes Pokémon with dual-types. Pokémon which share a type with an already acquired Pokémon may be caught, but they must be placed in the box and never used in the party at the same time as another Pokémon which shares any of its types.
