The Wonderlocke is a variant of the Nuzlocke challenge in which normal Nuzlocke rules apply, with the added requirement that each Pokemon you catch must be Wonder Traded away for a new random Pokemon. This adds an even greater degree of randomness and unpredictability to the Nuzlocke challenge, and potentially allows a player to acquire very strong Pokemon early in the game.
If you are Wonder Traded a Pokemon you already have, you may Wonder Trade it again until you receive a unique new Pokemon.
Note: This variant is only possible when playing a Pokemon game with the Wonder Trade feature and internet access.
